St Bernadette's was part of the Building Education Revolution in Australia designed to provide new and refurbished infrastructure to all eligible Australian schools.  The program was part of the Rudd government's economic stimulus package designed as a response to the 2007–2010 global financial crisis.

St Bernadette’s principal actively supported the design and construction of the two new buildings:  The Learning Centre and the School Hall.  The project succeeded from many angles including the budget. This was due to a constant communication between the client, the builder, the superintended and most importantly the kids! They loved the process.
